Let us talk disruption of the education industry by blockchain technologies!

Education, like many industries, has a number of startups which claim to be using distributed ledger or blockchain technology, to disrupt the industry. Some 11 such startups have published white papers in 2018 so far.

At this event we will explore:

1. The various projects and existing companies in the education industry using blockchain technologies;
2. The claimed advantages of such technologies, as used in education;
3. How the blockchain may change education business models;
4. Investing in such projects at a seed, pre-sale, or ICO stage; and
5. The reality, versus the hype, regarding the state of maturity of project crypto-economics and the underlying technologies.

The session will be lead by Terry Hilsberg, a Venture Partner at Innohub Capital (Shenzhen), who has reviewed in detail most of the blockchain projects in the education industry, looking for possible investment opportunities. The event schedule will try to be:

6. 1950 - 2000hrs - Andrew Robinson, a cofounder of Questagame, to talk about the Biocoin Project, that has a substantial user base in Australian schools and a global user base
