HOW TO GET YOUR CHILD TO MAKE 2 GRADES PROGRESS IN THEIR MATHS

Details

I am a Sydney Girls' High School Graduate with an undergraduate degree, two masters degree and a professional qualification.

I have been tutoring for over 30 years. Maths is my passion and the joy in seeing my students excel is so rewarding.

I worked as an Actuary for the top 5 insurance companies. After 20 years in the industry, I decided to pursue my passion and undertook my Master of Teaching in Mathematics to become a high school mathematics teacher.

I am now a qualified high school teacher and work full time in a high school in the East.

So whom is this meetup for?

  • If you are a parent of students currently in years 7-12 who want their child to achieve a Band 5 or 6 in their HSC. Remember that the HSC has a new syllabus and is overwhelming everyone and the exams seems to have changed dramatically and with one teacher’s words, the HSC was one of the hardest the past 50 years.

  • You are a parent who is perhaps worried that maybe your child is not getting the right support at school when it comes to achieving high grades in Mathematics

  • Or maybe you just want them to reach new heights because you know additional support is the key,

  • Or you are a parent who value your child’s education and you want to set them up for success

  • Parents who are prepared to invest the time, energy and effort to help their child secure a Band 5 or 6 in their HSC.

  • You are a parent who is just looking for a clear and achievable plan to help your child stay motivated and enjoy learning Mathematics.

This meetup is for you.

This meetup is through zoom.

Meetup members need to be at least 18 years old. While family groups are more than welcome on Meetup, anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be accompanied by an adult.
