🌊 A Classic Sydney Harbour Walk
Join us for a spectacular morning exploring one of Sydney's most beautiful coastal trails. We'll catch the iconic ferry from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo, then follow a stunning harbourside track all the way to the golden sands of Balmoral Beach. This walk offers breathtaking views of the city skyline, quiet coves, and a perfect finish by the water. This is widely considered one of Sydney's most scenic harbour walks—and a firm favourite among locals.
### 🥾 Walk Highlights(~10km)
- Ferry ride with unbeatable views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge
- Athol Bay – first glimpse of the harbour bushland
- Bradley's Head – panoramic views back toward the city
- Chowder Bay – perfect spot for a short break and refreshments
- Georges Head Lookout – 180-degree harbour views
- Balmoral Beach – swim, picnic, or coffee at the famous Boathouse
The trail is well‑maintained with clear signage, winding through pristine bushland while offering spectacular harbour views from multiple lookout points.
### 📅 Itinerary
10:15 AM – Meet at Circular Quay Wharf 4
10:30-10:47 AM – Ferry to Taronga Zoo
14:00 PM – Arrive at Balmoral Beach (allow for photo and rest stops)
Free time: coffee or lunch nearby. Head back by bus afterwards.
### 💰 Cost
- First-time attendees: $10 AUD (supports group coordination)
- Returning members: FREE
- Additional costs: Ferry fare (~$10 Opal round trip), lunch/coffee
### 🎒 What to Bring
- Opal card / credit card
- Comfortable walking shoes (some stairs and uneven sections)
- Water bottle (1.5 L recommended) + snacks
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
- Light jacket (breeze can pick up along the coast)

- This is NOT an event for you to seek for date opportunities. Please be sensible, pay respect to yourself & the others. Any inappropriate behaviour will be remove from the group WITHOUT notice & reported to the platform for further action.
