Sydney fantasy and science fiction writers monthly meet up (March 2nd)

This will be the second meeting of the Sydney fantasy and science fiction writers group.

This session will follow the format we established last time with those who want to introduce their projects and the rest of the group continuing insights and advice with the intention to help each other achieve their writing project-related goals.

We will then have a dedicated discussion on the use of the hidden/secret world in fantasy and what makes a good one.

This part of the meeting is aimed at helping one of our members build up ideas for world-building and project development.

We will then discuss the opening line and hooks of sci-fi and fantasy. Any members who wish to read their hook/opening paragraph please bring it along and read it for us all to discuss!

As mentioned last time I will then be going to the pub across the road for a beer or two. You don't have to join me for this but you are welcome to do so if you wish!
