EASY & BEAUTIFUL SCENIC SYDNEY HARBOUR WALK: Easy walk, flat all the way, perfect for beginners. Come on, we need to exercise. Enjoy amazing scenery while walking around the world's most beautiful harbour to Sydney's famous Fish Markets!
STUNNINGLY SCENIC WALK - Let's start walk through "First Fleet Park" past Overseas Passenger Terminal onto Hickson Road Reserve then under Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Next: Walsh Bay, Barangaroo, King Street Wharf Darling Harbour, Sydney Aquarium, over Pyrmont Bridge to Maritime Museum, stop for a coffee, rehydrate at Pyrmont Bay.
Keep Walking: We visit "Life in a Suitcase Monument" then through Metcalfe Park onto Pirrama Park with magnificent views of Sydney's gorgeous Skyline! Enjoy the Pyrmont Foreshore walk at Waterfront Park. At last we arrive at the famous Sydney Fish Market where we can enjoy yummy lunch, then catch the tram back to central station.
Time: 10am Start - please try to be 5-10 minutes early.
Meeting Point: Outside Customs House Courtyard. (corner Loftus & Alfred Streets)
Distance: 10km (about 2.5 hours)
Difficulty: Easy/Very Easy, there are plenty of early spots to leave the walk.
Walking Pace: An easy steady pace at 4km-4.25km per hour.
What to Bring: Comfortable outfit, a litre of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, a raincoat just in case of wet weather. Bring your happy personality too!
