Formerly known as the Sydney Gay Meditation group, we are a group of queers exploring different styles of meditation together each week in a safe and inclusive way at Darlinghurst Community Space - 277 Bourke Street (entrance via Berwick Lane) Darlinghurst NSW 2010. All levels of meditators are welcome from absolute beginners to advanced.

We gather from 6:15pm onwards, and at 6:30pm we start with 3 minutes of silent meditation for personal reflection. We then introduce our meditation facilitator, who will guide us through the meditation, which runs until approximately 7:30pm.

After the meditation we invite everyone to join us at the East Village Hotel located nearby for dinner or drinks. If you just want to come for a chat and mingle with everyone you are welcome to do so!

SUPPORT THE GROUP

This group is run 100% by volunteers and none of our guest speakers are paid to lead our meditations. As such we are always looking for more volunteers to serve our community and continue the amazing work of sustaining this wonderfully unique group. Please reach out to us digitally or on the night if you are interested.

This not for profit organisation has only been able to continue with your kind donations. We have overheads including cost of venue hire and insurance as well as advertising. You can now donate though PAYID and our ABN number is 45788728326. Otherwise we accept cash and eftpos donations on the night at a suggestion of 5-10 dollars per person each week.
