We have two sessions with great speakers: Yasara Yasawardhana and Sushmita Mondal from Macquarie Group.

Yasara Yasawardhana - Software Engineer at Macquarie Group

Yasara is a Software Engineer at Macquarie Group with over four years of industry experience developing software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP. Since graduating from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2021, she has primarily worked as a Java engineer in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Notifications domains. Yasara is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies in the software industry.

Sushmita Mondal - Software Engineer at Macquarie Group

Sushmita a software engineer with 6 years of experience, currently working with the Payments team at Macquarie Group. Throughout her career, she has been deeply involved in solution design and recently took on the role of Feature Lead for a project, guiding it from concept to delivery. She is passionate about coding and problem-solving, and she thrives on building efficient and scalable solutions. Outside of work, she loves traveling and exploring new cuisines, always eager to try something new and exciting in food and experiences.

Topic: Monitoring and Observability in Reactive Microservices
Description: In this session, we’ll explore how to keep an eye on reactive payment systems to make sure everything runs smoothly. We’ll dive into the tools and techniques that can be used to track performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the system is always responsive. Whether it’s measuring how long transactions take, tracing requests as they flow through services, or gathering logs to find and fix problems quickly — we'll cover the essentials for making the system observable and reliable.
