UPDATE 11/JUL/23: Note there will be a new system for seating people starting from today - we will be seating English and Korean speakers on either side of the table and provide some small signs to make it clear which side to sit on. Please sit in front of the sign *matching* your native language (not the language you are learning), and hopefully you will face someone to practice with!

👉How does the event go?
Before seating please follow direction and sit in the correct place for your native language (host will guide you). This is to ensure everyone has a chance to face someone from the other language.
5:30 - 6:00, introductions
6:00 - 6:30, only talk in Korean
6:30 - 7:00, only talk in English
7:00 - 8:30, free talk
(It is okay even if you are not cofident in Korean or English. Look up the dictionary, talk slowly, and help each other 😁)

Shark Hotel has decent food and drink, including a range of beers, ciders and cocktails, so you can plan to eat here as well (many people do), or just relax with a drink it's up to you!

We want this to be a fun and safe event, and Shark Hotel is a safe venue with good security. However, if something does make you feel uncomfortable, talk to an organizer or one of the bar staff who can help you. Also, at the end of the night be cautious about moving to a different venue that may not be as safe. If you do, try and stick together and look out for one another.
