Something about the Organiser - Connie Vee
Hi, I have been involved in the Sydney live music scene for over 20 years now. I have explored many genres including blues, rock, jazz, funk, soul, metal and ska. I love exploring new bands and venues and will often attend gigs where I am unfamiliar with the music.
I love festivals - in fact I often travel to festivals in my campervan - I find festivals a segway into other genres and styles.
I live in the Inner West and am sole administrator of the "Inner West Sydney Gig Guide' on Facebook. Please head over and join the other 13,000 other members of the group.
I am spiritual, meditate and am involved in energy work in my spare time. I love bringing people together and helping to create community.

How to find us:
- Whenever possible the Host will reserve a table. Our mascot is the red ukulele. Find it and you have found us.
- If you are shy or a little anxious come early and our host will ensure you have an easy introduction to other participants.
Fees and Ticketing:
- There are no current fees to attend an event.
- Ticketed events - generally we will ask you purchase your ticket before confirming RSVP.
- For free events please be mindful to RSVP only if you are definitely attending. The host will ask venues to hold tables and seats for the group based on RSVPs.
- Where we are able to gain VIP bookings, we may require payment be made directly to this group, in which case very clear instructions will be provided.
- Wherever possible refunds are available (less meetup admin fees and charges). In some cases where a refund is not provided by the venue and payment has already been made, a refund will not be possible. However, we will endeavour to find a person to purchase your ticket.
Rules:
* Aggression will not be tolerated. Anyone being aggressive towards other members, staff or performers will be asked to leave and will be banned from the group.
* Out of courtesy we ask you do NOT at any time jump on the stage, grab a performers mic, touch their equipment or be a niusance. They are performers and should be respected. The stage is theirs.
* We are not a dating group. Our events are about listening to, enjoying, appreciating live music, meeting new friends and creating a community. On occasion you may meet someone you like in the group, and that is ok. However, if you make unwanted advances or are found to be harassing other members you will be banned from the group. I, Connie, am prepared to have this discussion, therefore if you feel vulnerable or compromised come speak with me so we can address this immediately.
