Quilting - paper piecing

Paper piecing (also called foundation piecing) is a simple, fun way of making quilted blocks. It allows you to create all kinds of complex blocks with ease.

Any previous level of sewing experience (including none) welcome.

Bring along your sewing machine if you have one (but if you don't that's fine. The space has a couple and we can share).

Cost: $5 to cover fabric (or bring some cotton quilting fabric to share instead)

Note for those who haven't visited the RnD before: electronics hacking, laser cutting, 3d printing and general making will be happening at the space as usual. If you would like to stick around after the workshop to play with any of this stuff, I highly recommend bringing a laptop if you have one.
