Join us for the Sydney MongoDB User Group event as we explore best practices and use cases of app development with MongoDB. Whether you're a software developer, tech enthusiast, or simply curious about new technology, this event is for you.

• 6:40pm - Catchin' Context: Building a Pokémon AI Agent with MongoDB: Why do most AI agents have the memory of a Magikarp? This talk tackles AI amnesia by building a persistent, stateful memory in MongoDB, using the complex world of Pokémon Showdown as our case study.
  Short-Term: Using documents to track live battle state and turn-by-turn history.
  Long-Term: Using Atlas Vector Search for "opponent modelling" (remembering past strategies) and "knowledge augmentation" (querying 1000+ Pokémon moves and types). This 20-minute session will show you how to build an AI that doesn't just battle, but learns.
