About this group:
If you have a passion for folding paper and creating stunning geometric shapes, then this is the group for you. Whether you're a beginner or experienced folder, everyone is welcome to come together and explore the endless possibilities of origami and modular origami and make new connections and friends.
Let's fold, connect, and inspire each other to push the boundaries of this beautiful art form.
This is a casual group, and we will get together to make some artwork, chat and share our knowledge. Feel free to make some new good friends, too. Isn't it the main goal of Meetup after all?! ;-)
About me:
I'm not a professional. I have some background in origami but haven't practised it seriously for ages. So, I decided to start over, this time with other enthusiasts who are happy to share their art and learn from others.
Please message me and let me know how much experience you have in Origami. Also, let me know if you have any ideas about how to run the session or if there's something specific you'd like to fold.
I work Mon-Fri, so at the start, the time should be after 4:30-5 p.m. or on the weekends. Then others can join the events I create without me.
At the beginning, I'll bring the papers and tools we need. Later on, you can bring yours if you want.
