Royal National Park: Bundeena-Gymea-Winifred Falls + Audley! 20km Medium/Hard

This is a fantastic bush walk through the interior of the RNP from east to west!

We meet at Cronulla Wharf by no later than 8:20AM to catch the 8:30AM ferry across Port Hacking to Bundeena, inside the RNP. We immediately strike out on a 3KM hike via Bonnie Vale Campground to Maianbar with another 4KM alongside local roads taking us into the magnificent Winifred Falls Walking Track.

We take a short break at Winifred Falls to admire this spectacular location! A further 4KM gets us to Audley and, finally, clean bathrooms plus a café from which food and cold drinks may be purchased. This is our late lunch break.

After lunch, its 4KM of fire trails along Temptation Creek exiting RNP at Gymea Bay with 3KM of local roads and parks through to Gymea proper and the train station.,

What to Bring: Please bring snacks and lunch, hat, sunscreen, plenty of water. Water refill available at Audley. Members can purchase food at Audley, but the café is usually very busy, so I recommend bringing your own lunch. There is a clean public bathroom at Bundeena, just off the ferry, but nothing further until Audley.

Pub: Gymea Hotel

Suggested Donation: $10
