Bushwalking: Eastwood-Chatswood-Lane Cove River (21km) Medium/Hard
We meet at Eastwood Railway Station by 9:40AM and walk about 15 min to Terrys Creek Track. This leads through to Marsfield and under the M2 Motorway, where we meet up with Lane Cove River and the Busaco Trail which leads through to Macquarie University. We exit the bush and, about 10km in, find ourselves at Macquarie Centre Shopping Mall, for lunch and clean bathrooms.

Lunch done, we sneak back to the Lane Cove River and re-join this wonderful river/bush walk, which snakes past North Ryde and West Lindfield bringing us into the back of Chatswood via the local golf course and a bunch of Kookaburras. A final climb through the backstreets gets us to Chatswood Railway Station.
Distance: 20km
Type of Walk: Rugged bush tracks, local roads.
Difficulty: Medium/Hard
Walking Pace: We will maintain a steady pace all day and must average about 4 km per hour to finish on time.
Meeting Place and Transport: No later than 9:40AM at Eastwood Station; Railway Parade Exit. Trains from Chatswood back to the City.
What to bring: Good walking shoes/trail runners; 1.5 – 2 litres of water, refill available along the way; hydrolytes; snacks and lunch; light rain jacket depending on conditions. FOOD COURT AT OUR LUNCH STOP.
