Mt Wilson is a heritage village in the Blue Mountains about 2 hours drive from Sydney and Mount Irvine is 15 minutes further away. Mount Wilson is well known for its historic houses and exotic gardens, many of them established well over 100 years ago.
This time of the year these gardens turn on a vibrant autumn colour display, blending different shades of red, gold, and orange.
The photography challenge of this trip is ‘Composing with Colours’. More specifically, using the ‘Orange and Turquoise’ colour scheme as a composition tool. Participants will receive a pdf guide in advance in preparation for this exercise. After the event, you will have the opportunity to upload up to 3 of your best photographs on which other members are invited to comment.
