Talk Title: Presenting Dynaglue: single table designs with DynamoDB
Talk Summary: Single table design is meant to make it possible to use DynamoDB efficiently, but it puts a lot back on the developer to consider instead of letting them get on with their data. Ill take you through how it works, and present dynaglue, a library for managing some of the complexity while still reaping the benefits of performant data at any scale. I also take you through the learnings of using for 3 years in production at Honey Insurance.
Speaker Bio: Im a full stack engineer, predominantly helping build serverless architectures on AWS with Node and Typescript for the past 8 years. I currently work at Honey Insurance, creating a new, smarter home insurance product that helps you proactively protect your home.
