Our story was inspired by the collective struggle with online dating and tired speed dating concepts from the 1990s.
This is NOT speed dating. There is NO swiping. Forget the amateur hosts, tacky plastic table numbers, name stickers that don't stay, annoying bells, five-minute timers, awkward conversations, and mutual matches sent to you via text or app after the event.

HOW IT WORKS
Join The 6° Social, which uses the theory of six degrees of separation that two strangers are connected to each other by six or fewer family members, friends or acquaintances. Matches are based on serendipity—the ultimate date with destiny.

A note from Meetup HQ that we have to honour as a group: We're happy to welcome singles and dating groups on Meetup, but in order to ensure everyone has a quality experience, events need to be focused on meeting other singles and doing activities as a group.
