Pelican Feeding & Scenic Walk at The Entrance (Central Coast)

Join us for a fun afternoon exploring The Entrance on the Central Coast!
We’re going for an adventure this time outside of Sydney, heading up to the beautiful Central Coast to explore The Entrance! 🌊🐦 We’ll start with the scenic Coast to Lake Walk, which takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Along the way we’ll pass the Ocean Baths, stroll through Memorial Park and the foreshore, enjoy the views around Shelly Beach and its rock platforms, and wander past Long Jetty with its lookout points. The walk offers a beautiful mix of ocean views, lakeside paths and plenty of photo spots.

After the walk, we’ll stop for lunch together around 2.30pm at one of the local cafés. Then at 3.30pm we’ll head to the waterfront for the famous pelican feeding, one of The Entrance’s most iconic experiences. We’ll wrap things up around 4 to 4.15pm, giving everyone enough time to relax and soak in the atmosphere before heading back. It’s a great chance to enjoy some fresh air, coastal views and good company all in one afternoon. 🌟

Plan for the day:

• 10.00 am – Take a train from Sydney to Gosford
• 11.30 am – Take a bus from Gosford to The Entrance
• 12:20 pm – Arrive at The Entrance
• 12:30 pm – Start the Coast to Lake Walk
• 2:30 pm – Lunch in local town cafés
• 3:30 pm – Watch the Pelican Feeding at Memorial Park
• 4:00 pm – Option to grab gelato/coffee by the water
• 4.10 pm – Head back to Sydney

Central - 9.48am (platform 8)
Strathfield - 10.01am (platform 3)
Epping - 10.13am (platform 3)
Hornsby - 10.26am (platform 5)
