Socrates Cafe - Moderated Discussion

This meeting will be a moderated discussion (with no formal talk at the start). We'll choose the topic together on the night and you're invited to participate (or to sit back and enjoy the conversation, if that's your preference). No homework or prior reading is necessary - just come prepared to be open-minded.

Schedule:
18:30-18:45*: Arrival and topic suggestion.
Everyone is welcome but not obligated to suggest a topic for discussion. Please limit your topic suggestion to a maximum of 12 words.
18:45-19:00*: Topic selection
We will vote on topics and choose the one with the most voted. You will be able to vote on as few or as many topics as you wish.
19:00-20:00*: Group discussion.
20:00-20:30*: Summary of group discussion.

Dining:
This venue does not have food available for purchase.

Cost/Donation:

• Suggested donation is $5.
• If money is tight for you at the moment, we will accept a gold coin donation ($1 or $2).

Access:

• Next to Redfern train station (less than 50m away).
• Some street parking should be available within reasonable distance.

Event capacity will be limited by the number of facilitators we will have on the night, so please do RSVP if you are coming and change your RSVP if you decide not to come (it is helpful to ensure we can line up the right number of facilitators to ensure YOU have a good night).
