Simulation, Simulation, Simulation.
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to have three presentations from some of the best in their fields.
Presentation:
Dr. Omar Zohni got his start in the simulation space working at Northrop Grumman where he was responsible for the thermal, mechanical, and vibration analysis of their electronics enclosures and boards. He joined SOLIDWORKS in 2010 after 5 years at ANSYS as a Sr. Application Engineer. He’s spent the last 20+ years working with companies showing them simulation techniques that can help them leverage analysis to drive their product designs. He holds a BS from the University of Pittsburgh, an MS from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD from North Carolina State University all in Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical analysis of underground mining equipment at Resemin
A practical example deploying Finite Element Analysis in product quality and safety regulation compliance context.
Presentation:
Hassan Chreim holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2009 with antenna design specialty. He worked for 4 years as a wireless engineer, conceiving antennas for several civil/military communications systems, involving partners such as Thales, The CNES and the European Space Agency.
Antenna design for performance of connected devices
Industrial Internet of Things helps your products to communicate and harness data. Learn how to practically implement and optimise in your SOLIDWORKS design process.
Presentation:
Before joining SIMULIA R&D in 2016, Srikrishna Chittur functioned as a simulation applications expert at Trimech Solutions with focus on pre-sales, technical & sales training, technical support, marketing and engineering services associated with SOLIDWORKS Simulation portfolio. He holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. As a passionate Evangelist of SIMULIA’s overall vision for fluids simulation, Krishna has been actively involved in communicating with internal teams and key customers about our state-of-the-art fluid simulation solutions addressing a broad range of industrial processes.
Keeping the system and cool and operator comfortable with CFD
Australia presents a challenging environment to keep our operators and devices within an optimal temperature range. Learn how some of world’s leading brands design for a robust performance and comfort.
A complimentary light supper to commence the meeting and a few things to take home as well.
