Have you ever felt like no one really gets what you’re going through after a stroke?
You’re not alone — and that’s exactly why this group exists.

The Sydney Stroke Survivors Meetup is a safe, welcoming space for stroke survivors and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and talk about the emotional side of recovery — something that often gets overlooked in traditional rehab.

In this online session, we’ll:
• 🌟 Introduce ourselves and share our recovery journeys (only if you feel comfortable)
• 💬 Talk about the emotional ups and downs of stroke recovery
• 💡 Explore tools, coping strategies, and community resources
• ❤️ Remind each other that progress takes time — and no one has to walk this road alone

This is a relaxed and friendly chat, not a formal session. You can just listen in or contribute when you’re ready. Cameras on or off — totally your choice.

Your host, Julian Reddish, is a stroke survivor, counsellor, and mentor who supports people navigating life after stroke.
