Open Mic — Daytime Park Gathering 🌿
Who’s written a poem they’ve never shared?
Who’s created something and wants to offer it to others?
If you want to act, dance, sing, read a poem you’ve written, share something you’ve created, or even show a piece of visual art — this space is for you.
This is a relaxed, daytime open mic in the park, open to anyone and everyone. Absolute beginners who have never shared before are just as welcome as seasoned performers.
On the day, each person will have up to 5 minutes to share. While someone is performing, we ask for complete presence from the audience. Whoever is sharing deserves to be fully seen and witnessed.
Voices are welcome, and small, portable instruments are welcome too.
You do not have to perform — you’re very welcome to come along simply as an audience member and hold space for others.
Why I’m hosting this:
I’m personally exploring alternative ways to express myself, and I feel like we all need more safe, grounded spaces to do that. If you’ve been looking for a place to express yourself creatively — or even just to witness others doing so — I’d love for you to join us.
It’s a daytime event in the park, so please arrive on time.
