We're delighted to announce a very special edition of the next C++ Meetup, a “Lunch and Learn” series! We’re really excited about being able to bring the content out to the communities out of the CBD, where we will hold shorter, more focused sessions for those that may struggle to get along to usual CBD events!
Kicking this series off in style, we are delighted to announce the first of these “L&L’s” will be held @ Aristocrat in Macquarie Park, on Friday, 17th June at 12.15pm!
The nature of these sessions means spots are limited on a first come, first serve basis...
We have two excellent talks lined up:
Scalable RESTful API development in C++
Almost no one uses C++ for their API. Samuel Marks ( http://offscale.io ) demonstrates how modern C++ is sufficiently concise, understandable and can be made comparable in agility; with respect to feature additions; to industry favourites: Python/Ruby/JavaScript.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. We'll be starting the first talk at 12.30pm and finishing up at 1.30pm sharp! So please ensure you arrive no later than 12.15pm.
