Come to the Central Coast where opportunities exist for photographing birds at Davistown. You might see Sea Eagles, Ospreys, Cockatoos, Ducks, Pelicans, Terns and a variety of bird life.
It is a wetland, and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended for a flat walk by Brisbane Waters. Afterwards, we will meet at Davistown RSL for coffee, drinks or even lunch.
For golfers, bring your sticks as a driving range is nearby and if we have enough people nine holes at Gosford Golf Club is a possibility.
How to get there:
Drive from Sydney to the Gosford turnoff from the M1. Here you will join the Central Coast Highway, continue through until you reach Avoca Road. Turn right here and follow Avoca Road until you meet the roundabout at Davistown Road. Turn right again and follow the road until you find the Lintern St Ferry Wharf. Here there is adequate parking for cars and meet in the car park at 9 am. From Hornsby it is around a 40–45-minute journey.
