Newcastle Museum and Art Gallery

Feel like a trip to Newcastle Civic? Catch the 8.20 train to Newcastle from Central. One can relax with their $2.50 train fare for seniors and enjoy conversation, music, reading or the view from their seat. The 6th carriage will be the meeting point from Central.
The meeting point at Newcastle will be the Newcastle Museum at 11.am. Alight the light rail at Civic. Entry to most exhibitions is free and there are various displays to capture your interest. You may need to adjust your white balance for best results, and I would recommend a focal length from 24mm to 50mm full frame equivalent lens.
The next venue is the Newcastle Art Gallery where one may see First Nations artwork along with European pieces of art. Along the way there is a park with a war memorial that is worth exploring.
At 1 pm we can meet at Civic pub for a meal and a cleansing ale, coffee or soft drink. From there one can catch the light rail to Newcastle Interchange and the train back to Central.
