SSP Friday - Katoomba Heritage

Today we will document the modern translation of Katoomba’s heritage and how it has evolved.
We will have coffee at On the Soul Side Cafe with it’s interesting interior and maybe some live entertainment. We will walk down Katoomba Street noticing the street level facades and the upper facades of the buildings across the street on the west side. Many are still original. So look ahead and look right.
We will also look at the street art in Beverley Place.
On the walk back to The Carrington Hotel we will walk on the western side of Katoomba Street.
Lunch at The Carrington Hotel at 1PM.
Trains leave
Central at 8.55 am or
Strathfield at
Parramatta
Blacktown
Penrith
If you miss that, you could catch the 9:09am from central. It takes about two hours to arrive at Katoomba.

Optionally, at the conclusion of lunch we can grab a view of Katoomba from the exterior near the library. Then catch the train back to Sydney or your car.
