SSP TUE. Toy Cameras: Enmore Road

Bring your toy camera, either digital or film, and if you don’t have one, you can borrow one from Stan or use your phone. If you use a phone, why don’t you use a toy-camera simulator? On the iPhone, Hipstamatic is highly recommended.

Meet at Cafe Newtown, at the corner of King Street and Enmore Road, at 10:00 AM for coffee. It’s very easy to get to, by train (Newtown Station is across the road) or bus.

The walk starts at 10:30 AM. Start by crossing Enmore Road and exploring Pride Square, a Newtown plaza landmark. From there, it’s a very easy, simple walk down Enmore Road. You’ll see a road packed with commercial storefronts all the way down to Stanmore Road. This sight inspired this event. Cross that road and suddenly it’s residential, down to Enmore Park.

Enmore Park is a large park that you can explore before meeting at our lunch venue, The Vic on the Park, across the road.
