Film Only: B and W, Town Hall steps.
Details
Let's try something different in this event. Town Hall steps have long been a meeting place for people in Sydney to meet.
The idea is to position yourself, so you be able to observe people waiting for friends and acquaintances and take an image with the Town Hall in the background. You may prefer a wide-angle image or focus with a short telephoto 135mm or 85mm on the people. For this to work you will need to find a spot and blend into the background.
This technique requires patience and discretion by the photographer, It will be a challenge and there will be no guarantee of results. Film photography has fewer opportunities for images however this technique may prove beneficial. After trying this method of photography, you can decide if elements of this technique work for you.
2nd Meetup Point: Town Hall steps at 11.30 to discuss coffee and lunch options.
