Tea tasting: Wuyi Mountain tea

Details

Sip your way through the Wuyi Mountains, where some of China's finest (and most famous) teas originate.

Learn about yancha (rock oolong), the history of black tea via lapsang souchong and its smoked and unsmoked versions, plus the story behind jin jun mei (golden eyebrow), one of the most expensive teas in the world.

Cha is Tea is a secluded city tearoom serving a wide variety of Chinese tea. Meet in the lobby of 418 Pitt Street, Haymarket.

Cost = $25
