Tea Party: Sydney Tea Meetup turns 15!

Once upon a time there was a tea lover* who wanted to meet other tea lovers in Sydney so started a Meetup... 15 years later we are still here. Where has the time gone?

Join me for a tea party to celebrate 15 years on Meetup.

11am: Doors open
11.30am: Tea-rivia – test your tea knowledge
12.30pm: Light lunch and birthday cake
1.30pm: Fundraiser teaware sale
2pm: Freebies and finish

Fundraiser
The Sydney Tea Meetup has never asked for membership dues but, in case you didn't know, as a group owner I'm charged twice a year (in US dollars!) to keep it going. I'm running a small fundraiser to go towards upkeep where you can buy new and secondhand teaware, including tea sets, gongfu sets, tea bowls, flasks, storage containers and other accessories.

Freebies
I have samples (so many samples) that need a home. Please take voraciously. There'll also be a fun surprise to end the day.

Cost is $25, includes tea, food and freebies (teaware sold separately)

The closest train stations are Harris Park (270m) and Parramatta (500m); street parking on Sunday is free with plenty of spaces on Cowper Street and in the Marion Street car park behind the venue.
