Let's meet up for a relaxing Sat afternoon of chatting and sipping Yingde cheese tea in Burwood.

I've discovered this amazing flavour profile, combining Yingde black tea and frothy cheese at HeyTea in Burwood. It's surprisingly delish and I believe worthwhile sharing the experience with other tea lovers.

What's Yingde tea?

Yingde tea (Yingdehong or Ying Hong) is a renowned Chinese black tea originating from Guangdong province, first produced in 1959. Known as one of China’s top three black teas alongside Keemun and Dian Hong
It is celebrated for its sweet, honeyed, with notes of cocoa and malt flavour profile.

Where to meet us?
At the front of HeyTea store in Burwood.
169 Burwood Rd, Burwood NSW 2134
(short walk from the train station)

From there, we will go find a spot in the Burwood street eats area to chat and sip. There are also options there to buy some snacks to eat if desired.

Pay for what you order on the day.
There's heaps of other tea options to try, including matcha. Depending on what you order, HeyTea price points range between $7-11.

If you have a spot and there is a waitlist, please make sure you update your RSVP if you can no longer make it at least 2 days (48 hours) in advance so there is sufficient notice for someone else to join in your place. Thank you for your consideration in advance. Of course, totally understand that sometimes life happens, and it's not always possible to give advance notice if there's an unexpected emergency or you become sick last minute.
