Symfony User Group Belgium meetups are back & Symfony UX

Details

Hello everyone,

We have some very exciting news to share with you. After a few years' absence, the Symfony User Group Belgium meetups are back!
This is a fantastic opportunity to get together more regularly and share our experiences of the Symfony framework.

For this edition, we're absolutely thrilled to talk about Symfony UX, the new set of PHP & JavaScript packages, curated by Symfony, to solve your every day frontend problems.

Here are the practical details of the meetup:

📆 Thursday, June 27th 2024
⌚ Starting at 6:30 PM (the talks will start at around 7:15 PM)
📍 Av. de Broqueville 12 · Woluwe-Saint-Pierre

The agenda:
6:30 : Welcome drink
7:10 : Intro
7:15 : Talk 1. Simon André - LIVE (Component) Experience -
7:45 : Talk 2. Kévin Thérage - Bundle Structure Overview with GotenbergBundle -
8:15 : Pizza and beer

Symfony is a popular technology in Belgium. Last year, we had the pleasure of welcoming Symfony enthusiasts from all over the world to SymfonyCon Brussels 2023. Let's meet again before the summer holidays in Brussels, just two steps from the Montgomery roundabout, on June 27. We'll be talking about Symfony, PHP, web technologies, and enjoying a drink together!

❓ What is Symfony?
Symfony is an amazing set of reusable PHP components and a PHP framework for web projects. Created in 2005, Symfony is a rock-solid technology that has become one of the global standards for web development. Symfony is also an Open Source community with over 600,000 developers worldwide (top 20 Open Source projects on Github).

đŸŽ€ Guests

--- Simon André - Developer at SensioLabs and contributor to Symfony UX ---
- LIVE (Component) Experience -
What if there was a secret ingredient to enhance the user experience of your project without leaving the comfort of PHP/Symfony? For prototyping, or even developing a front-end... in PHP?
Embark on a L-I-V-E adventure with Simon André where we'll attempt to answer the following questions:
* LiveComponent: a great choice for your project?
* LiveComponent: a perfect fit for you and your teams?
* LiveComponent: for today and for tomorrow?

--- Kévin Thérage - Developer at SensioLabs ---
- Bundle Structure Overview with GotenbergBundle -
In Symfony, we always hear about bundles without ever really understanding what they are and/or when they should be created. Using our next open source bundle (GotenbergBundle), Kévin will show you the basic structure and some interesting principles to keep in mind when starting to build bundles, such as semantic configuration.

After the talks, we'll enjoy drinks and pizzas together đŸ•đŸ»
Doors close at 9:30 PM.

Thank you to SensioLabs and Smile Belgium for supporting this meetup!
