The Synthetic Data Meetup #3 - Training Systems & The Future of In-Home Robotics

Details
Our next meetup is a live, remote event with two brilliant speakers.
You'll learn about training robotic systems and the future of in-home robotics.
HOW TO REGISTER:
For this event, you will not register through Meetup. Instead, please register via the webinar link here:
https://app.livestorm.co/mostly-ai/the-synthetic-data-meetup-robotics-future
Once approved you'll receive an access link via email.
DETAILS:
Mostly AI's Jeffrey Dobin will host an hour-long session with Seung Kim, Research Scientist at NVIDIA (and a PhD student at University of Toronto advised by Sanja Fidler), and Gil Elbaz, who leads research and development of photorealistic synthetic data for computer vision at Datagen.
SPEAKERS:
Seung Kim is broadly interested in deep learning, computer vision, and simulation technologies. Simulation is a critical component in training any robotic systems and as such, Seung will introduce GameGAN that leverages the GAM framework to learn to simulate with neural networks.
Gil Elbaz is Datagen’s CTO and Co-founder, based in Tel Aviv. He received his B.Sc and M.Sc from the Technion. Gil’s thesis research was focused on 3D Computer Vision and has been published at CVPR.
HOW TO ASK QUESTIONS DURING THE EVENT:
Use the "Question" button to ask your question. It will be dropped into a queue. Seung and Gil will do their best to answer as many questions as time allows.
