Syracuse Open Data Day

Details
Come join the City of Syracuse for our 1st Open Data Day where you learn about what information the City of Syracuse puts on the Open Data Portal, participate in breakout sessions to learn industry standard tools to access and visualize open data, and create your own project to compete against others to win prizes.
Sign up below. It's free, it's fun, and you will have food! The event is on Saturday November 4th from 10:00am - 4:30pm, and attendees are free to any or all of the sessions.
The contest will be a month long data challenge. The project pitches and judging will happen in the afternoon of November 4th.
The theme for the 2023 Data Challenge is transportation. We have compiled a list of relevant City datasets that may be used with this project as well as some external datasets or API’s that may be interesting for participants to explore. This can be viewed at: [https://data.syr.gov/pages/open-data-day ](https://data.syr.gov/pages/open-data-day)
*In order to be an eligible data project submission, a data project has to use at least one dataset from Open Data Syracuse, but contestants are welcome to use additional data sources as well.*
