What differentiates a highly effective or high performing team from a mediocre or dysfunctional one?
This talk will look at the emotional, social and systemic ingredients of team effectiveness. It will present an approach to incrementally build on the performance and effectiveness of a team depending on where the team is on its development journey and what its current state is as a team.
This talk will draw on the fields of systemic collective intelligence, strengths coaching and inner work to explore team dynamics and practical ways of building a highly effective team.
About Ryan Behrman
Ryan is the CEO of StrongSuits, a team development toolset that uses playing cards and games to get teams having fun and feeling energised while having the kinds of deep conversations that really matter about how people behave and how they can develop.
He has co-authored four multi-accredited programmes in organisational and team agility coaching and facilitation which have been delivered to hundreds of coaches, facilitators and change agents over the past decade.
Ryan wrote his MBA dissertation on Agile methods around the start of the management and organisational phase of Agile (“Agile vs Waterfall for Complex E-Commerce Projects”, 2011) and has been instrumental in transforming ways of working for teams, programmes, and whole departments in organisations such as UBS, BP, Vodafone, UK Ministry of Justice and SAP hybris.
He holds over a dozen certifications in coaching and facilitation and is trained in Professional Coaching (Coaching Development UK), Organisational Constellations (The Whole Partnership), Family Constellations (The Centre for Systemic Constellations), Action Learning Sets (Action Learning Centre), Lego Serious Play (Serious Work), Relational Mindfulness and Insight Dialogue (Optimal Living), Bohmian Dialogue (Dialogue Creates) and Systemic Team Coaching (Academy of Executive Coaching).
Ryan is the founder of the Systemic Agility organisation and community.
