Szeged Data Competence Meetup: AI+BigData

In our first meetup, 2 great speakers plan to share their thoughts on 1-1 topics at Lufthansa Systems Hungária's Szeged office.

The presentations are in Hungarian but questions can also be asked in English.

Whether you're new to data or an experienced data professional, we welcome you.

What can you expect if you join us?

• There will be 2 speakers, 1-1 great presentations followed by a short Q&A session - we're counting on your opinions and questions here.
• Afterwards, you can join an informal professional discussion with either 1-1 experts or in smaller or larger teams.

1st speaker: Richárd Farkas, PhD

• Title: Is Artificial Intelligence really intelligent?
• Description: What's behind the artificial intelligence solutions presented in the press? How close is AI to human intelligence?
• Format: lecture + Q&A
• Introduction of the speaker: "I have been working in the field of Artificial Intelligence for 20 years. I am the author of 120+ scientific publications, the implementer of 10+ successful business AI projects, and the author of 10+ open source softwares and databases. Currently I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence, Head of the Artificial Intelligence specialization of the BSc course of PTI, and Subproject Leader of the National Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence."

2nd speaker: Péter Paluska

• Title: The History of Big Data
• Description: Technological overview from the emergence of Big Data solutions to the present day.
• Format: lecture + Q&A
• Introduction of the speaker: "I have been actively involved in the development and design of Big Data systems for 7 years, currently working as Data Engineering Competence Lead at Lufthansa Systems Hungária."
