How to automate documentation for your testing work

Details
About Bogdan Sandulescu (presenter):
Bogdan is a software engineer with 15 years of experience and for the past 4 years has had a focus on testing.
About the presentation:
When we fall behind on test documentation, executing and managing your test cases becomes a hassle as the number of test cases grow and more people join the team.Depending on the type of projects we work on, making a trade-off between writing detailed documentation or increasing coverage is difficult. On the one hand if we choose to manually write detailed test steps & data, soon we can fall behind achieving our desired requirements coverage, especially when writing a test case can take longer than executing it.In this presentation we will show a different way of creating test cases, bug reports & reporting back on our testing work, using a Sidekick, a free & local only Chrome extension.Instead of manually writing all steps & data for a test case, Sidekick extracts your actions and translates them into plain English, allowing you to document new test cases, update outdated ones and to create bug reports in a single click. And when you want to run a regression or verify a bug fix Sidekick plays back your steps to help you evaluate your test runs easily and report back to your test case management tool.
See you later,
