Welcome to the Calgary Table Tennis Group
This group is for all table tennis enthusiasts in Calgary—whether you’re here to play, learn, or compete, you’re in the right place! Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced players, and we’re always open to suggestions on how to make the group better.
Our plan is to organize regular practice sessions, host learning classes, and run a monthly tournament within Calgary.
### Membership Levels
To make the experience fun and rewarding, members can choose their starting level when joining the group and then advance through achievements in tournaments.
Starting Levels:
- Level 7 – Newbie / Learner
- Level 6 – Bronze: You play occasionally and consider yourself a fair player
- Level 5 – Silver: You play frequently, consider yourself a good player, or have won 3 Bronze tournaments
Earned Levels (through tournament achievements):
- Level 4 – Gold: Win 3 Silver tournaments
- Level 3 – Emerald: Win 5 Gold tournaments
- Level 2 – Diamond: Win 10 Emerald tournaments
- Level 1 – Black Diamond: Win 20 Diamond tournaments
