Hello!
This group has been created for people in Gent who are interested in exploring TTRPGs beyond "Dungeons and Dragons". Nowadays a lot of people know about "DnD" specifically but have no idea about all the other modern roleplaying games like Mothership, Call of Cthulhu, Pirate Borg, Deadlands, Outgunned and so many more.
These games all build on the same foundation—collaborative storytelling with dice—but each one puts its own spin on it.
Maybe fantasy doesn't tickle your fancy? There are games all about surviving encounters with alien monstrosities in space. Weird wests where cowboys shoot werewolves as often as each other. Vampire games where intrigue and mind-games are way more dangerous than any literal weapon. Superhero teen drama games where you fight evil AND teenage angst. You can be a group of bears trying to steal honey! That's an actual game, people!
If you’ve ever thought “I wish I could play an RPG set in my favourite book, movie, or game”—you probably can.

And those are just 10-15 random examples out of 100s of these games.
Many of these games are faster and more accessible than DnD, too. Character creation can take 5 minutes. Combat doesn’t have to drag. You don’t need a 3-page spell list just to play a wizard. These games are often lighter, punchier, and more focused on storytelling.
We put narrative first. If you’re excited about building cool characters and crafting immersive stories together, this group is for you.
We’re especially looking for people who want to run games, not just play. GMs will get priority access and the freedom to run whatever they’re passionate about—if others are keen to join in.
