I just want to preface by saying that I love hosting for everyone. It feels amazing to hear people tell me that my events are in fact therapeutic for them and they enjoy attending. I do my best to provide an environment and space for people to escape from the regular routine, play and laugh with others, and use gaming as a form of self-care. I've had people request to donate. While I will never request money or turn my events into a paid event, I appreciate the sentiment that people want to show their appreciation in some way.
All funds you guys help me out with will go back into covering the Meetup subscription fees, buying new games for the event, and my boba addiction. Definitely not expected though, just showing up to play is all the support I need!
