Regarding sending messages through Meetup:

  • I am getting many people messaging but then I cannot reply: "Read-only. This conversation is read-only, because this user blocked you or their privacy settings prevent people from messaging them."
  • If you've just created an account, I guess meetup has some broken settings. Please check them if I do not reply. (That being said meetup sometimes has glitches with messages anyway, but we'll work it out and figure out how to have a good time, right? Right).
