TAC Off Season: Encumbrance Session Zero w/ DM James

Hey y'all. Welcome to the Encumbrance Campaign. I made a little shift in the core D&D rules to add focus on travel and Carrying Capacity. I'm hoping that putting a more rigid system in place there will help boost moments of exploration and discovery. That's the theory, and the main avoidance is to keep from bogging down the players with useless busywork. Thank you so much for helping me with this.
The storyline should include a character creation/session zero, and 3-4 game sessions. The story takes place on the edge of a vast desert, making resources scarce and conditions brutal. Your party will need to rely on its forethought, build, and luck. For in Cadress Mar, “you are what you carry.”
