F# from Zero to Hero

F# for Beginners Workshop Weekend edition, on Sep 16, 17 2023 5PM-9PM CEST, 8 hours total.

F# is a functional-first language that lets you write elegant and concise code for multiple platforms. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of F# and functional programming, and how to use them for web development.

You will learn how to:

• Write F# code using the basic syntax and features
• Compose functions and programs using higher-order functions, pipelines, and monads
• Use F# data structures and collections
• Model client-side applications with Fable, a compiler that turns F# into JavaScript
• Create a simple web app with F# and ASP.NET Core

This workshop is for absolute beginners who have some programming knowledge, but no F# experience. No installation or setup is required, as we will use an online IDE.
