A few of our group members attended a previous astronomy event about Jupiter. Let's go ahead and do it again to learn about different cultural perspectives of Constellations. These are monthly events put on by Tacoma Astronomical Society https://tas-online.org/public.php

EVENT DETAILS from the ORGANIZER:
TAS Public Night
There are many, many different ways to experience the night sky and describe what we see. Those stars in the north that help us find our "north star"... so you see a bear, a caribou, a wolverine, a bow and arrow?

Join the TAS Students as they share the night sky in a new way.

After the presentation, if we have clear skies, TAS volunteers provide telescopic observations of the Moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, double stars, and more. Each season boasts something new and exciting for our frequent guests.

Free Tickets - are available 1 month before the event and are recommended, but not required, for entry: https://tas.ludus.com/
