Blue Robot Write-In

An in-person study hall! Join a handful of local South Sound writers at Knapp's Restaurant in Proctor for a little chit chat about writing, a fifteen-minute writing prompt with optional sharing afterward, then an hour of free writing on our own projects. This is a low-pressure, no-critique meeting! All genres are welcome.

This group is woman and LGBTQ+ friendly. Knapp's is accessed through standard-size doors that must be pushed or pulled, but has no steps to enter. Bathrooms are wheelchair-accessible but divided by gender. Food or drink purchase is optional (you can find the menu here: www.knappsrestaurant.com/menu). Masks are not required, but the room where we meet is reserved for the writing group so has limited exposure to the rest of the restaurant. The room may be drafty in the winter. Street parking is plentiful on the block, or you can take the 11 or the 16 buses.
