Ceramics with Cathy and Nanette
Details
Come take this fun, three-part ceramics class with Cathy M. and Nanette C.!
January 28th, February 4th, and February 11th
The cost is $60 + 6.18 tax for members (66.18 total) and $80 + 8.24 tax for guests ($88.24 total)—which is to say, for any lady who has not paid our annual dues of $60. Be sure to read below about prepayment and the cancellation policy.
And, yes, tax on instruction is new. You can let the State of WA know what you think about it. :-)
Schedule
In the first class we will make kurinuki pots. kurinuki is a traditional Japanese technique whereby we carve out blocks of clay to create a vessel.
In the second class we will make wall pockets.
The third class we will glaze our pieces.
The following week, when the pots have been glazed and fired, we will meet at Nanette's to pick up our pots. She lives in University place. Her address will be shared during the class.
This class is suitable for all levels, taught by Cathy Moeller and Nanette. All supplies and materials are included for the items planned for the class.
Cancellation Policy:
Annual TACG Members - TACG members do not cancel before the 48 hour window will be responsible for class fees.
Women who have not paid annual membership dues are welcome to attend up to three events, two paid. Because we have no way to contact people who have not officially joined TACG other than through Meet-up, our policy is as follows: If you have not paid one week prior to this class or event, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and remove you as an attendee. This allows us to open seats for others, and respects the preparation needs of our instructors and facilitators. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
How to pre-pay: You can pay with check, credit-card, or through Venmo. To pay with Venmo, please use the QR code in the photo gallery of most classes. If you would like to pay by check or credit card, please reach out to our treasurer, Nadine at 253-777-6117. It can help to text first if your number is not yet recognized in her phone.
