This trail is an urban oasis. It sits right in the middle of commercial and residential properties. Most people don't even realize that this forested trail exists and we are blessed to have it in our Pierce County backyard. DON'T GOOGLE THE TRAIL FOR DIRECTIONS, otherwise, GPS will take you to the new, but unfinished trailhead where there is construction happening. We will park at the Lower Milton Baseball Fields on Porter Way and Kent Street.
Walk your walk. Turn around when you want if you don't want to do all 3 miles. Walk as fast or slow as you want. The turn around point is when you enter a residential neighborhood.
Please arrive by 10 a.m. We usually wait 5 minutes for everyone who RSVP's "attending". Please be courteous and do not be a no show.
There is an opportunity to grab some coffee after the walk at Emish Market on 20th and 70th Avenue E in Fife.
