Hiking Naches Peak Loop. 3.2 miles and 600 feet of gain.

This popular hike provides a range of alpine experiences with stunning views of Mt. Rainier.

The trail starts at 5,600 feet making this easy trail a little tougher on the lungs. The trail also starts off with a 600 feet of gain but then levels off then comes down 600 feet.

No dogs are allowed on this hike.

Pace: slow with lots of stops

Parking pass: NW Forest Pass, America the Beautiful or Senior National Park pass.

Latrines at trailhead and a visitor center just before entering the park. After the hike, there is an option to stop at Wapiti for yummies.

What to bring:

  1. weather protection: be prepared for cold or warm.
  2. sun protection
  3. water, lunch and snacks
  4. hiking shoes
  5. personal first aid kit with medication
  6. bug spray
  7. a bag for your hiking shoes if you are carpooling in someone else's vehicle

Cost: $15 to your carpool drivers
Carpooling is optional.
We will make voluntary carpools at the Bonney Lake Park and Ride.
