Cards, Cards, Cards! Pick a Palette Challenge
Details
Our “Cards, cards, cards!” exchange is getting a joyful reboot! This time we’re not just swapping cards… we’re making them. Each month through the end of 2026 we will gather for a card making event, each with its own theme and inspirations. Some will have a fee associated with it, but this one is FREE!
*Please note, the date and location are different than what was originally announced. See location below.
September Event: Pick a Palette Challenge
Come play with color in a fun, creative challenge! You’ll choose (or randomly draw) a curated palette packet and make a card inspired by those colors. Each packet will include coordinated papers and a surprise element. We’ll also have supplemental papers available, and some card bases and basics.
Prefer your own colors? Wonderful. You’re welcome to bring a palette packet you assembled at home and work from that instead. The whole idea is simply to explore what happens when you start with a color story and let your creativity wander.
Be sure to bring your favorite tools, pens or paint and adhesives. All skill levels welcome.
This event will be happening alongside our monthly Craft Camp, so drop in when you like, stay and chat, wander between tables, or work on your usual project. This is a flexible and informal event, but please sign up if you want to participate so we know how many palette packets to provide! (Say that 10 times fast, I dare you)
Optional: donate your finished card to the senior center’s card box — a simple way to spread a little joy.
