TPS Integration Circle Understandings/Agreements

1. I understand that this integration circle is not a replacement for professional medical or mental health services of any kind, and that the facilitators are not here as healers.

2. I understand the Importance of reciprocity and giving back - Sometimes there is a need to focus more on one’s own healing, but don’t get lost in that forever. Move back into a state of uplifting others when there is capacity to do so.

3. I agree to help create a strong and clear container by staying until the completion of the circle.

4. I agree to not bring psychedelics into the space and to not use the circle to sell or market products or services.

[NOTE: In the normal course of getting to know one another, it’s fine to share about what one does and share information if requested - but to come with the intention to be in community, not market or sell.]

5. I agree to be fully present to the circle, including turning off electronic devices, refraining from snacking or side conversations, and gently bringing my attention back to the circle if I notice my focus drifting elsewhere. Anyone who is using their phone during the meeting will be asked to step outside.

[NOTE: If one has low blood sugar or a medical need to take care of oneself and leave the circle briefly to have a snack, please do go ahead]

6. I agree to share only about my own experience, doing my best to keep my sharing to “I” statements and to model change in my own life rather than suggesting what others should do.

7. I agree to not give advice, input, or feedback during the sharing circle unless it has specifically been asked for by a group member and to refrain from cross-talk while others are sharing.

8. I will not share the names, experiences, or stories of anyone else who engaged in psychedelics with me, including any medicine providers/practitioners who supported me or locations of their work.

9. I agree to keep everything shared at the circle confidential, including the names of those who attend.

10. I agree to respect diversity and foster inclusion with regard to race, gender, identity, age, ableness, cultural traditions, and spiritual and religious beliefs and practices.

11. I understand that this is an open sharing environment, and that I may hear things that trigger me. I agree that I will take care of my own feelings and needs, stepping away if necessary to regulate my emotions. If I feel that our agreements have been violated, I will raise my hand so that a facilitator can issue a gentle reminder.

Arrival

Please arrive between 8:45–9:00 AM

Set Off

We’ll begin hiking at 9:05 AM sharp (at the latest)

Expect good company, fresh air, and a little seasonal reset as we mark the Spring Equinox together.

After the Hike

We’ll head to Renton for lunch:

(Ono Teriyaki or IHOP)

Bring layers, water, and whatever feels like your version of welcoming spring.
